A couple weeks ago, we went over the story of a pest control company in Jacksonville that turned to Great Leap Studios for their marketing and advertising. You can read the story here for background. This company had many challenges, the most notable being poor quality initial content as well as consistent hacks that had dropped them almost completely off the map in search.
It’s been two weeks. There have been no new hacks (woo hoo!), so the content that we’ve created has had an opportunity to take effect. Here’s where they are after about 1 month of hack-free content and SEO strategy:
- Termite Treatment – #1 on page 1
- Bed Bug Control – #2 on page 1.
- Squirrel Control – #6 on page 1
- Bed Bug Treatment – #7 on page 1
- Rat Control – #8 on page 1
There are repeats of similar keywords within the top 10. In addition, there are many high value keywords that have moved to the top 15 – where initially they were ranked no better than 35. Still a ways to go, but in 4ish weeks we’re pretty proud of that improvement, and we expect it to be clearly in an advantageous position once we’ve had a chance to finish more pages and start on complementary strategy.
Overall, not bad at all for a company that only recently had a functional website and still has many edits to go.
