Podcast Episode 8: Branding and Ad Retargeting

PodcastCover

When it comes to promoting a business online, building a website, and generating traffic, there are quite literally hundreds of things you can do. But sometimes you find synergy between a handful of things and they work together perfectly. This week, on the GLS Content Marketing Podcast we talk about two such synergistic pairings – content marketing and the concept of digital branding and ad retargeting.

Our conversation this week focuses a lot on the idea of brand building and how content is a natural tool for doing so, but needs some direction to see real results. We also talk about how powerful something like ad retargeting can be when used to recapture traffic that you generate from your content marketing and branding strategies.

We also spend a few minutes discussing Google’s newest algorithm overhaul – Hummingbird. With search data disappearing from Analytics, how will you be able to analyze and respond to the way visitors interact with and find your site any more? While there is certainly more to be said on this topic, we spend a few minutes discussing how to prepare for and start making changes for the Hummingbird overhaul and why content branding is the perfect way to be ready for ANYTHING Google throws our way.
